I will say for me to be struck mute is a bit of an oddity! But at 6:00 AM who really feels like talkin? I can't help but think that the Second Dr V - who I very much liked - also did not think 6:00 AM was the greatest time for a conversation and was secretly relieved.

We don’t know what to say either. Reading your words today was reliving when Alan delivered the news to us. We are sad and with you in our hearts.

Thank you. I know you are. And I know you can empathize with this moment of belief (because it really is not a surprise) and disbelief (because somehow in some illogical but totally human way, it totally IS a surprise.)

BTW - Still mulling on octothorpe. Trying not to cheat.

Oh Nancy, not good news. Sounds so cold to deliver this at 6 am in the morning? What's up with that? That was not nice. Was anyone there to comfort you? Were you alone? Just know we are all pulling for you. Prayers for comfort and peace and God's healing touch. Blessings my Friend.

I was alone but Al and Daughter#2 arrive a few hours later and - as you will see from the next post - are there for THE talk which is when we get more information. I do not know for certain but honestly think they had just gotten the biopsy results back. Plus, let's face it, being only half awake might be the best time to get the news! :)
